**Raiding Ben Klock's vault and a new 'City To City' compilation.**
The minute I heard 'Klockworks 01', I instantly became a fan of Ben Klock's productions. There's something about his sound that is completely original - his productions have been a breath of fresh air for techno, but he still manages to acknowledge his roots and display his passion for true techno. His debut album 'One' is, for me, a timeless EP and his recent Depeche Mode remix was so, so dope!
So, as you can imagine, I'm very proud that Ben trusted me enough to release some of his original productions on Deeply Rooted House.

The 'Tracks From 07' release includes the dope 'Red Alert', which has - in my opinion - a certain something similar to Liquid Liquid, with its dope beat and dark vibe.

'Viscoplastic' is a deeper track with an awesome groove and feel.

So this is the first Deeply Rooted House release distributed by Carl Craig's Planet E. I'm happy Mr Craig gave me this opportunity and I hope it will help give the label all the exposure it deserves.

The next Deeply Rooted House night in Rex Club is on December 4. I'm delighted to welcome Detroit legend Rob Hood, Berghain's Norman Nodge and my dear friend Francois X - currently fine-tuning his second release for Deeply Rooted House - it will be a great night of techno for sure.
At the moment, I am preparing the new 'City To City' compilation for BBE - the third installment. The aim on this one is to feature contemporary artists like Ben and Redshape alongside forgotten moments from the likes of Marcus Mixx and Armando. It will be out in April 2010. I'm still working on those new projects with Jerome Barbe here in Paris - I'll fill you in on that new portable rotary mixer soon!
