MMOTHS (Live) [Heart EP Launch]
It's hard to believe that in only a year Jack Colleran, aka MMOTHS has carved a name in the vast electronica scene we encounter daily. Not only on a national scale, MMOTHS is now known worldwide, and with the likes of Flying Lotus and Star Slinger supporting his work, 2012 is set to be a year for his career to fully take shape with the release of his first EP.
We are delighted to welcome MMOTHS to the Twisted Pepper for the launch of his debut EP, 'Heart' and his first headline show.
"This kid is getting better and better. I expect some real world moves (with one big exciting one for sure in the pipeline) in the coming months (once he finishes his Leaving of course" - Nialler9
"It’s funny how sometimes you listen to a song and it gradually morphs and changes in your estimation from its original impression to its affirmed state." - Harmless Noise on Heart
"What Colleran achieves with just four songs and a video is a remarkable continuity in his expression; it might be called "narrative" or "soundscape"; it might be harder to describe than that, but Moths feels like a unified concept without being boring or pretentious." - In your Speakers

"fast-becoming Ireland’s most promising solo musician through the release of his slowed-down emotional electronic music" - Day and Night Magazine
"The more we hear from Newbridge teen Jack Colleran, the more impressed we are. Superbly pitched electronic beats with oodles of heart and soul." - Jim Carroll, The Irish Times
