Its funny how fast they grow up - Carboot Sale Number 4 is happening on Saturday July 5th at 1pm - 6pm in the scaldy back yard of the Bernard Shaw bar on South Richmond Street in Portobello.

Sale's 1 thru 3 have been growing steadily, with lots of great (and godawful) stuff being saved from the landfill and going home with proud new owners. Everything from mountain bikes at suspiciously low prices to vintage jewelery, clothes, computers, cupcakes, tea sets, magazines, hats, boots, purses, jeans, desk fans and ye know yourself.

Even if you are not on the market for anything drop along as its a great way to spend the day, with nice people and nice atmosphere.

The plan is, as always, to keep building and adding to the booty sales, throwing more market traders in and some sideshows of music and what have you.

Planning for the next one is well underway so if you would like to take part and flog your wares then this is what you do:

I am looking for a combination of established market traders, food people, t-shirt printers, people who make trinkets and other bits at home and obviously people with a car and a house full of junk they want rid off.
