MR. JONES: D.I.M (BOYSNOIZE RECS)

Mr. Jones in association with Trinity Ents welcomes out first international guest into The Twisted Pepper, D.I.M from label-of-the-moment BOYSNOIZE Records.

Andreas Meid aka D.I.M caught the attention of the dance world last year with his unique blend of twisted electro-tech and grinding basslines. In 2007, D.I.M.'S Airbus & Sysiphos was one of the year's biggest tunes and championed by dance music heavyweights Sven Vath and Justice.

D.I.M caught the producing bug early after purchasing his first Linndrum drum machine at the age of 14 with best friend Alex Ridha (Boys Noize). The pair had their first club hit when D.I.M was only 20 and Alex was only 16 with their song "Young Love".

After being signed to Boys Noize records, the Hamburg resident released a string of remixes working with the likes of The Presets, Midnight Juggernauts, The Faint and Tiga. His most recent remix of Japes "Floating" has gained massive support from Erol Alkan and the Ed Banger crew.
