POGO Pres: LEROSA Live
ENCLAVE RECORDS LAUNCH PARTY
LEROSA LIVE, SCOTT LOGAN & GRAHAM O'SULLIVAN
THE URGES
HOUSE OF DOLLS
SHORTIE & M
Saturday 28th June 2008
11pm-3am
Local Dublin house/techno label Enclave Records (headed up by Scott Logan) joins us for a dual celebration to officially launch his label and also to mark top producer Lerosa’s debut club appearance. Italian born Lerosa relocated to Dublin in the mid-90s and picked up an interest in house & techno, particularly of the Detroit variety through clubs & labels like D1. Just late last year he released his debut EP on Enclave – “Seeker” which has been going down a treat on some of the deeper dancefloors worldwide. He has an EP to follow coming on D1 and another on Uzuri which has already been getting plays from a quite wide range of DJs including Giles Peterson!
On support for the night will be one of D1's main originators Graham O'Sullivan dropping quite the selection of Motor City sounds from his super collection built up over the years.
Enclave founder Scott Logan will take to the controls himself to finish off the night, laying down what his signature Enclave sound of deep but kicking Detroit techno flavour. Scott played POGO back in Feb and did quite the job so we're really looking forward to hearing him all over again.
In POGO Live – local Dublin heads the Urges & the House Of Dolls (the new formed Aleko) join Psychotic Reaction to showcase some of their new material, while Flavo provides the tunes in between and after the bands.
