POGO: SCOPE & TU-KI // HERON (FVF RECORDS)

REVOLUTION

Revolution are back for their second installment of dancefloor beats provided this month by local favourites Dj’s Tu-ki & Scope. They'll be embarking on a 4 deck mash-up of all sorts from soul, funk, hip-hop, house, disco old & nu. The Revolution VJ will be accompanying them with a live visual mix throughout the night matching Scope & Tu-Ki's beats.

FVF Record's latest signee is Munster's (Germany) up & coming Heron (previous releases on underground techno labels Klique & Limikola). Relatively new to the scene, Heron grew up with a passion for Detroit techno, yet as began to go clubbing & dabble in production he became heavily influenced by the underground German techno scene and has neatly managed to merge the two together into his production. His career really only took off at the start of 2008 with the release of his "Retro EP" which caught the ear of Richie Hawtin & the Mnus crew as well as a host of other techno jocks, and has been a regular feature in Hawtin's sets. Over the last year Heron has been very busy in the studio over the last year, and FVF have managed to snap him up for their latest release.

Heron also hosts his own radio show "The Grasshopper Warbler" which streams on the 2nd Friday of every month on GLOBAL BEATS FM

...and since 2007 he's been running a series of techno parties called "Schaltkreis" alongside fellow producers & graphic designers Jan Sen & Nicetry. The parties have become highly regarded for their unique interior design, multimedia works & quality line-ups.
