Berghain's Marcel Dettman returns to POGO kicking off the first date of his residency for 2010. Upstairs on the Stage continuing from early (see separate event from 8pm) the Richter Collective give us an "Introduction to Belfast" with Not Squares, Girls Names and SKP, with DJ support from Jim Carroll & Nialler9.
Also beginning their POGO residency, the Tea collective have a residents bash in the Mezz with Phil Long, Dave Hardagon, Ste Downes & Mark Murphy.

Marcel Dettmann, born on the 26th of October 1977 in Pössneck, Germany, is a techno producer and DJ. At the age of 14, Dettmann was introduced to electronic music via friends whom he planned on going to parties with in Berlin.
He discovered the likes of Depeche Mode and The Cure and later the work of Detroit techno artist Jeff Mills. By 1994, Marcel began to spin vinyl.
In 1999, when Berghain club opened in Berlin, Marcel Dettmann secured a residency that he continues to hold to this day.
In 2006, Dettmann took on the production aspect of music and his first release ‘Dawning / Dead Man Watches The Clock’ was signed to Ostgut Ton.
Also in 2006, he founded his own Marcel Dettmann Records as an outlet to release his own productions, as well as the work of fellow Berghain resident Norman Nodge, and T++.
Marcel Dettmann has also produced several remixes for labels such as Rekids, Bpitch Control, and Global Underground.
In 2008, Beatportal named Marcel Dettman as its top techno artist of the year.

we'll most likely give him a 6 hour set if we can , coz we'll be opening at 9pm . saying that the music policy by and large from 9-11/12 at POGO next year aint really house/techno so i dunno.... definitely he'll play at least 3 hours . up to the flight times and the big man really

If you play it, they will come. Maybe he would be on for playing trippy,slower influences stuff for first 2-3 hours, just throw idea it at him. Worst he can do is say..but i do that at the end of my 8hr+ sets in berghain!

How often is his residency?
