POGO: Discotekken Present DMX Krew // DARK ROOM NOTES, WE CUT CORNERS...

After a very successful run of parties, Discotekken are very excited to bring over their first international guest DMX Krew. It's Dead Chickens time in the Stage again with the awesome (and recently BBE signed) Dark Room Notes alongside fast up & coming Dubliners We Cut Corners and the Vagabonds. Upstairs in the Mezz it's a Northern Soul affair with the Sleepless nights posse.

DMX KREW

Discotekken launched in September '09 in the Twisted Pepper Mezz & has had a few memorable parties since, to say the least! In February we're proud to welcome our very first international DJ, DMX KREW (aka EDMX) from London. Having released 5 LPs on Aphex Twins' Rephlex label & countless 12"s on his own Breakin' Records and many other labels over the years, Edmx has gained an international reputation as one of electronic music's most interesting DJ / Producers. His own productions vary from 80s pastiche pop to chicago influenced acid house to detroit techno & electro. When he DJs he plays across the electronic dance music spectrum of the last 30 years, from disco & boogie through aforementioned house & techno, to miami bass & latin freestyle music. There is little in the world of electronic music that Edmx hasn't touched on over the years. It promises to be a spectacular night.
