Up and Down Crew

Brother Emmet Hand, Sister Ali Hand along with guest contributors Bootsy the vinyl junky and Spiff the obscurest purest host this weekly show on 103.2 Dublin City FM. The show began in 1991 and has been on a number of stations over the years including Radio Caroline and Jazz FM in Dublin and even made it's way onto Wild West Wadio in Galway. Since 2003 the shows home has been 103.2 Dublin City FM where Emmet (Chip) is now joined weekly by Ali and regular guest presenters. The music policy is modern urban music, with its roots in jazz. The aim is to dig out fresh tunes that are a bit different while dropping the old school tunes that have had an influence on the new breed. The show includes a weekly gig guide, reviews, interviews and competitions. Up and Down broadcasts live every Sunday night from 8-10 pm GMT on the web at: www.dublincityfm.ie and around Dublin on 103.2 FM.
