3 years of Sundays in The Bernard Shaw finally hits a milestone with a night we never thought would make it 3 months when we started. From the struggling early days to the insanity of a few hundred people sweating their brains off to Theo Parrish, 12 has come a long way with plenty of highs, lows and loads of good times. From its early inception of a pub in a club with the emphasis on long sets from its residents pushing everything from Al Green to Juan Atkins and inbetween, it was a bumpy road in the first year with the likes of Charles Webster, Theo Parrish, The Unabombers, Benji B, Ashley Beedle all playing great sets to a packed BS amidst plenty of tumbleweed Sundays with us playing all our B-Sides either side.

It wasnt really until late 2008/early 2009 with parties like Dixon's 6 hour set, the epic 2009 NYD party and TR-One in January 09 that things really began to kick off and theres been tons of unforgettable nights and parties since from Daniel Wang in Feb 09, Motor City Drum Ensemble's Dublin debut in July 09, to Paddies Day in both 2009 and 2010 Theo again at Easter 2010, Hugo Johnson having the whole crowd sing 'Hometown boy' word for word at Easter 09 and plenty of mad after hours parties and boat parties being just some of the highlights.

Its been a topsy turvy 3 years and to cap it all off, we have one of our favourite DJs and a man we've wanted to bring to 12 for ages, making his first appearance, JOHN DALY.Known for his excellent releases on labels on like Wave Music and Drumpoet, JD is also a superb DJ who has smashed it on recent Dublin appearances at POGO in The Twisted Pepper and Nightflight. He will be playing a 5 hours set, supported by our trusty 12 residents with Gerry Molumby doing a microphone set in the Top Bar. Heres a vid from him rocking POGO on his last Dublin visit.......
