WTF Future Sound Of London are off the bill of Life.......
Not fookin cool at all ![]()
are / were they doing an ISDN set ? has someone not told them we're in the 00's now and broadband has actually arrived
regardless of the bandwidth though - and there's a pun in there somewhere no doubt - why do they do this sort of show ? wouldnt be into it personally at all , we nearly booked them for TP last year then read the small print and left it !
where they ever on the " bill " ........ doing a show remotely via ISDN , come on now, it aint cool, it load of baloney.
I'd be inclined to agree with you there Trevor.
Apparently the remote thing is down to them not wanting to dismantle their studio???
Obviously laptops are another new technology that seem to have evaded them as well.
If they're only doing an isdn set from their gaff or studio, I wonder why they've canceled, it's not like they'd have to travel anywhere?

not wanting to get off their lazy arses more like.
maybe the problem with those lads is they've never ever left the studio and realised things like broadband and abelton have come into the world ?

as said above, and as i said on this board before, the isdn thing was cool 10 years ago. now it's just ridiculous.
thing is, they were the headline act, and it's completely shit that this has happened. Still gonna have a blast of course, but this is just bad news :(
As pointless as their "live" show actually sounds, I think it's pretty bad that they're canceling, particularly as they're the headliners. It would be interesting to hear their reasons for "pulling the plug" (boomtish) on the ISDN live show, I can't think of many valid ones to be honest. I'd imagine you'd be entitled to a full refund if you were going to Life specifically to "see" them live, I'm pretty sure if an act cancels (and particularly the headline act) you're entitled to your money back.
