SCOOP Art auction & exhibition Tue 30th- Sun July 5th @ Powerscourt & Pygmalion

The SCOOP Art Auction and Exhibition launches on Tuesday the 30th of June with the auction happening on the Sunday the 5th of July. The Exhibition will be held in Pygamlion on South William St, with the Auction taking place in the adjoining Powerscourt Centre.


We are busy putting together the most diverse and talented collection of artists and artworks ever seen in our capital. We will launch the event with some free plonk in Pygmalion on the 30th of June, and will have all pieces on show in the days running up to the auction, on the 5th of July.


And with all pieces with no reserve prices and the bidding beginning at 'zero', we offer you the unique chance to get a mini masterpiece for a fraction of the price!

The group above are an eclectic mix of new comers, hotly tipped students, old hand professionals, those pushing the boundaries, those who make their own rules. There are painters of all ilks, graffitti artists, graphic designers, sculptors, glass blowers, photographers, ceramic artists, illustrators and cartoon geniuses (that be Bob Byrne!). This is the chance for you to get your hands on the finest work in Ireland at the moment whilst helping an orphanage in Cambodia, an aids clinic in Uganda, our DJ workshop here in Dublin and help The SCOOP Foundation grow and become a charity that can make real difference.


We are very proud to have Mealy's Auctioneers taking care of the auctioning side of things. Their professionalism and experience will really help this auction be the best we can hope it to be.


Music on the day and for the after party (in Pygmalion) will be in the hands of Calvin James and some of the best DJs Dublin has to offer.


We also have a very sweet raffle on the go too with top prize being a solid Wicklow granite coffee table. Other prizes include festival tickets, mobile phones with 100e credit, meals in top Dublin restaurants, magazine subscriptions and art of course!!
