DEAF 09

News: DEAF is now entering its 8th year & dates for this year’s festival are Thursday 22nd to Saturday 31st October with over 70 events in place, utilising 45 music venues, gallery spaces, clubs & bars. Highlights include Modeselector, Soap & Skin, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Surgeon, Christian Vogel, Planetary Assault Systems, Grouper, John Weise, Roger Doyle @60, Crash Ensemble, David Rodigan & Dam Funk, plus much more to come.

Last years fest was brilliant. Looking forward to this, and I know of a couple other things coming up that will be sweet too. My only worry is, that with club numbers down recently, that spreading it over two weekends is a bit risky. I really hope it doesn't mean a bunch of great gigs underattended becuase there's too much on and people can't afford to go them all...

I hope they find a better venue for the closing party than the village, it was terrible last year.


Also, any chance of them getting Moritz Van Oswald to perform since he missed last year?
