Digiboxes - Starview/Eurovox
a mate told me there's new ones out. and they come complete with nagravision 3 encryption. which means they work until sky/ntl upgrade again - the last one took them two years to upgrade to nagravison 2... with the recession an all, it might take them 3 years this time... that's 3 whole seasons baby... my mate can get them for 190 blips, ready to plug and play... pm if interested!

I just fixed two D-boxes and 2 Eurovoxes and I can confirm they are both working perfectly with all channels.
If you are interested in getting one, go for a Eurovox EX1000-SL...they are relatively cheap (£70 from http://www.eurovox.org/) and piss easy to set up. Keys roll every month or so and its just a case of plugging the box into your PC and clicking a button. Couldn't be any easier.

I have an olde Starview one, maybe 2 & half year old.. Any idea can this be fixed or is it too old?
I would buy a new one but the rumours are when the season starts they wont work after that again, dont know how true that is though?

I've the newish starview one, with the usb connection, just before they went offline. They broke the new codes about 6 weeks ago and its been plain sailing since with it. I paid 100 sterling with delivery.
the codes are not allowed on the afterdawn forum, havent been for yoinks... the new boxes are actually 140... but you'd have to deal with my friend direct ;)
plus - i use a classic imac g4 that can barely load myspace.com - i'm feiced when it comes to updating these things manually...
my mate had the first starview where he had to update the codes manually himself, after getting them from afterdawn when they posted the latest code changes.
can anyone confirm if afterdawn are posting the codes again and if they work for the starview 1 - just so i can tell me buddy, like.

would they work with an i-mac g4 for updating the latest firmware??
