Hard Drive recommendations

anyone know a good place to buy a hard drive around town?


need it be compatable with both Mac and PC, want a terrabyte of space too.


How much would this be?

Try Maplins I suppose. Tbh, online is your best bet.

you'll have to partition it if you want it to work on mac and pc and you won't be able use your mac stuff on your pc and visa versa. it'll be like having two 500gb hard drives.

You can run the full drive as NTFS and download Mac Fuse + NTFS 3G to enable the mac to read that format so no need for partitioning

meant to say that. i knew there was one you could get for the pc. didn't know about the mac one, cheers biggrin

think that's the same one easons have at the moment, they've terabyte ones anyway for about 100 bills
