Two fingers to the climate, taste and January's ESB bill some people go nuts with the tungsten lights all over the front gardens with 400W reindeers, snowmen, santas and the rest.
I've seen a great one on Bath Ave in D4, and a spectacular in Ballyfermot and I'm looking for some more really ornate Christmassy front gardens in Dublin. It's for a photostory and I'll post it once it's up. Any leads????

theres a block of flats on kevins st. opposite the DIT there about 3 or 4 stories up, 'balcony' is literally covered with lights, and everything else is blank, looks hilarious, one out of all of them just perched there,
There's some spectacular ones near my gaff including two neighbouring houses on the Ballybough Rd that appear to be in competition. I fully expect to see a recreation of the birth of Jesus on one of the lawns.
Our neighbourhood also features an inflatable chimney from which a mechanical reindeer extracts an inflatable Santa Claus. Awesome.
