To help you with your team selection here are a few players to watch in the run up,
Luiz Suarez - Had a killer Copa America and will deffo hit the ground running. Good pick unless they rest him because of the Copa.
Wayne Rooney - Having a great pre-season in USA. 5 goals in three games.
Theo walcott - Looking sharp and scored a great goal against the Malaysian XI
Stephen Ireland - Worth a shot especially as McCleish has said that he is going to build Villa around him.
Sergio Aguero - Having a medical at City today. If his price is resonable he might be worth a punt on his first Prem season.
Charlie Adam - The tastiest player last season. Could flourish at the Pool but may also play second fiddle to Gerard.

Charlie Adam will not play every game i.e start - he come off bench, some games he start stoke etc
Luis Suarez will not be available for first couple of games due to being in copa america.
Aguero is like Suarez in the fact he makes his own goals himself, he got loads of assists in Spain, depends how they line up and will Carlitio be still there.
Walcott - not for £9million Mike, that a joke, better players for less are available.
Jordan Henderson, he will play most games wide right or behind the front, he made the most goal scoring chances last season, more than any other player in the pl. He will also start most of the games too.
lot of folks saying torres, nah. Defo get a chelsea player but not striker, defender or midfielder.
Also get a man city player maybe a defender.
You say Rooney - I say Hernandez.
It going to be harder this year due to the prices of players. Be very interesting.
