Anyone got an idea of a place in town that replaces technics pitches and how much it might be? cheers
Technics repair in Dublin city centre
Funny enough the pitch on my of mine is also acting up... If you know someone that's a dab hand at soldering you could just buy the pitch on ebay and get them to solder it on.. you'll save yourself a bucket load of money by doing it yourself..
Luckly i know an engineer so i got him to solder a new tone arm on for me.. I'm probably going to go down this route again for the pitch.
Again aquarius if you can, got 2 new pitches with them a whiles back and remember the price being quite reasonable

i once bought a pair speakers from soundsaround. when i unpacked them they were in bits. brought them back and yer man was unphased and mildly apologetic and offered to replace them. i should have asked for my money back. he knocked five euro off an XLR to rca cable for my troubles, what a nice guy. that was about 4 years ago and i've never gone back. i hear nothing but good things about aquarius sound.
A mate of mine ordered a cross and an upfader off soundsaround, told to come back in a week, when he got there they said they were still waiting to hear back from vestax, this continued weekly for about 5 weeks until my mate rang vestax pretending to be soundsaround and they told him the order was never placed at all, sound
