In this first installment we've got three hipster and hip hop sources of mpfrees and more; radio shows, videos, opinions and stories. Recommend your favorite blogs below and list your own – we'll be putting together an Irish special soon. Read, download, enjoy, and remember: This music is for review purposes only, so support the artist involved, or feed a puppy or something. Ok?

A great mix of schools old and new. Recent highlights on the mp3 front include ancient tracks from 'High Potent' and 'Keef Keef', who are they? It's the original incarnations of Jay-Z and Keith Murray. Representing the new they've got the Twista remix of Dude n Nem's dancefloor destroying 'Watch my Feet'

Fatlace used to be the funniest hip hop magazine in the newsagents, now it's the funniest hip hop blog on the internets. Regular features include rare random rap (unsurprisingly very rare and slightly random rap records in mp3 form), and Westwood Wednesdays (full shows from 80s capital radio shows that should inspire a reassessment from the haters).

You can't go wrong with this; label of the moment and home of Diplo, Bonde Do Role and more, has a blog. Mpfrees include a heap of Mad Decent exclusives, Baile Funk and regular doses of Sinden's Kiss FM show.
Discobelle used to be like a skinny guy in a skinny tie being painfully hip in that pub Vice Magazine own. Now it's got a bit fatter and a little less cool (it'd still be wearing one of those multi-coloured hoodies though), but it's still the place to go for remixes, mixes, and those genres that only exist on the internet.
