God doesn't do Disco

Bodytonic have watched on with patience this summer as dance festival after dance festival has been hit with really awful luck. The floods and poor sales that caused Gatecrasher’s Chemical Brothers set and the Sunrise Festival to be cancelled gave you the impression that god had some beef with dancers and was getting his sick revenge by messing things up every time they had a get together. So it’s bad – but also kind of good – to hear that the Wacken heavy metal festival (the world’s largest metal festival) had its own taste of misfortune when the Portaloos all went up in flames this weekend. Hot shit, you might say. The rockers ran for the hills, Iron Maiden still took to the stage and the heavy metal promoters have set a reward of €1,000 for anyone who can identify the kid playing around with matches. Presumably most descriptions will follow the same, long greasy hair, big boots and face not even a mother could love pattern, like the picture above. But for once, at least, we can’t complain that god isn’t fair.
