A Quick Catch up With...The Count and Sinden
Ok so these guys don’t really need an introduction, brief or otherwise, but we thought we’d have a quick catch up with them anyway to hear about the latest tomfoolery and ballyhoo. So here it is.
Ok so these guys don’t really need an introduction, brief or otherwise, but we thought we’d have a quick catch up with them anyway to hear about the latest tomfoolery and ballyhoo. So here it is.
What’s been going on for you guys this year?
We’ve been touring as the Count and Sinden all over the globe, completing the Count and Sinden album, releasing Beeper and shooting the video, releasing The Machines Don’t Care album, remixing hard and putting out records on our Cheap Thrills label.
If you were writing your own review what would you say about yourselves?
Pretentious!
Tell us a bit about your craziest gig together!
Too many too mention - they all descend into some kinda madness! We closed Roskilde on the Friday and that was batshit! It all started when we saw a couple having full view sex by the roadside, so we knew it was gonna be wild. I managed to stage dive without breaking any bones this time.
If you could get any three musicians/producers in the studio with you, who would they be and why?
The Goss Brothers and Craig Logan.
What piece of new fangled technology has really made a difference to your job in the last few years?
We both bought an i-phone as soon as they came out and are still in awe of it. Apple - holla!!
What can we look forward to from The Count and Sinden at the Electric Picnic?!
Pandemonium, mayhem, anarchy, craziness, bedlam, bass. Sirens.
What you looking forward to about the good old Irish crowd?
Some good humour !
Not many people know that we…are in the Guinness Book Of Records
Count and Sinden’s joke of the day is…too offensive / lame to repeat
Count and Sinden’s word of the day is…megamegamega.
Count and Sinden’s idea of a good night out is…getting amongst it.

I seen em at Glasto. It's just them on the decks and an MC, think there might have been a female vocalist on the mic at one stage too.

"...and that was batsh*t!"
Not only do the look and sound like something from Nathan Barley, they talk like it too. Useless c*nts.
You'll be able to measure how many knackers made it to EP by doing a head count when they play "beeper".
Lets hope they put a donk on it too!
