Mr. Oizo discovers dubstep
The good people over at Datatransmission may have unearthed the godfather of Dubstep.
The discovery came about when someone over at the website came across the Oizo b-side No Day Massacre. The b-side accompanied his famous Flat Beat track and is nearly ten years old.
Considering that dubstep didn't really get out of the blocks until 2001 – Johnny Ilan over at Bassfiles, might have more to say on this, it's fair to say that Mr. Oizo and the No Day Massacre b-side was ahead of its game.
