Return of the Dangerous Mouse

Brian Burton - more famously known to you and me as Danger Mouse - returns to the music circus this year with his hands in no less than 3 new albums. As Dangermouse he made his name first with the critically acclaimed debut 'Ghetto Pop Life' [Lex Records,2003) and the extremely quirky and infamous ' The Grey Album ' [No label, 2004] . Burton has been keeping a relatively low profile since his massive no.1 hit 'Crazy' with Cee Lo Green under their Gnarls Barkley alias in 2006, producing other artists but nothing put out under his own name. So whats in store for 2008 ? First up will be Martina Topley-Bird’s second album, ‘The Blue God’ which Burton has produced and co-written . He has also lent his studio skills to The Shortwave Set's ‘Replica Sun Machine’, their second album but first on Wall of Sound records, and recorded with the aid of a full 24 piece orchestra . Epic. Last but not least , Burton revives his most famous project yet, Gnarls Barkley, with Cee Lo Green and an album is due to drop sometime in 2008. No plans have yet been announced to tour the album so whether they'll appear on the festival circuit near you soon remains to be seen. http://www.dangermousesite.com/
