Radiohead Greatest Hits

EMI and Radiohead are still in the midst of a bitter divorce by the looks of it. The band left EMI in 2004 having completed their contractual obligations with COM LAG - an album made up primarily of b-sides to the singles off Hail To The Thief . However, the major label are poised to release a 'Radiohead Greatest Hits' album to co-incide with the British bands forthcoming worldwide tour. Radiohead to their credit seem pretty ambivalent about the whole thing , with guitarist Ed O'Brien commenting on Canada's The Strombo Show "They're planning to do a greatest hits for April, May to coincide with our tour," said O'Brien. "That's an interesting one. We won't be doing any promotion for that, obviously." Drummer Phil Selway said they understood the move, and in an interview with Analogue said"It's well within their rights to do it. So we'll have to see." The band's wordwide tour kicks off on June 6th in Dublin with 2 shows , dates for their USA tour will be announced soon. Radiohead - Street Spirit
