Electric Picnic's Bloody Valentine
My Bloody Valentine are rumoured to be playing Electric Picnic in Stradbally in Ireland this August . According to Jim Carrolls 'On The Record' blog , the Dublin band might well make an appearance at the festival this year. They've already announced 3 UK dates in London, Glasgow and Manchester and are playing Roskilde, Oya in Norway, Benicassem and Zeynith in Paris this summer too, with US dates also expected to be added aswell. Other rumours circulating the net and various forums are that legendary cult-pop act KLF may make an appearance at Electric Picnic too. going to manchester myself too. cant imagine them playing the main stage at ep, it would be really awful. not a festival band imo
nope dont seem to be doing coachella . im guessing but i reckon they might do europe up until end of september and then USA after . or not do usa at all as case may be. are they popular over there ? i always thought it was mainly europe where they got the cult following ?

pretty much all the coachella forum does is talk about mbv, so i imagine they threw a rack load of cash at them and they turned it down. thought they would have picked primavera over benicassim seen as primavera is atp affiliated. they seem to be just going for the dates they want to.

yeah, i thought they would have done primavera too, especially since sonic youth did it last year. shame, the main stage there would have been perfect.
