Return of the Superclub

The super club is not dead. Clubbing giants Gatecrasher have announced plans to take over Birmingham club “The Works” with a £5 million pound renovation. The club is now closed till the end of September when it will re-open as their new venue.

Be warned though, your city too could become the victim of the cheese-tastic trance empire. Gatecrasher is seeking out architecturally compatible buildings for nightclubs in Manchester, Glasgow, Liverpool and Dublin (gulp!)

Yeah, not quite sure how this is going to work, the scene's at saturation point already. Could just be rumours though, remember all that shíte about Fabric opening up here a few years ago?

once they hear about the 2.30 am closing time, they won't bother their arses. i'd be well up for a superclub here. bring on the trancemania. 8)

I went to see Paul Van Dyk in the old ginger minge once and was told by some yoke that I was a deadly dancer and that I should get some furry boots. Obviously, if I had acquired said item of essential club wear I would have risen to the status of a truly great dancer. Not that this has anything to do with superclubs in Dublin, but you know Gatecrasher....Paul Van Dyk.... got me thinking. Always makes me laugh when I think of that little story. Plus I'm bored in work
