Moby to perform at Global
Moby to perform at Global
Rave legend-cum-unpredictable musical pioneer Moby is to perform an exclusive remix set at Global Gathering today.
Love him or hate him, Moby has given us some belters over the years. From the absolute anthem ‘Go’ to the endless mass of blissed out advert beds on ‘Play’, Moby has been there and done that. He would’ve and got the t-shirt, but it wasn’t fair trade… This summer sees the NY player hitting a select amount of festivals and events across the globe. Global Gathering, held this weekend at Long Marston airfield outside Stratford Upon Avon, sees him performing his only UK gig, and he promises it’s going to be something rather special indeed.
As anyone who’s seen Moby will tell you, his live performances are incendiary. Leaping from guitar to bongos and even a bit of scratch action on the turntables, Moby’s performances excel where his albums can often fall short. His performance at Global on Friday (July 25) is set to take this to the next level as he takes you on a retrospective journey through the highlights of his albums ‘Play’, ‘18’, ‘Hotel’ and his latest LP ‘Last Night’ but with a remix twist. In other words, you’ll hear Moby songs as you’ve never heard them before. Moby Live: Remixed will be backed by a full band including a percussionist and an as-yet-unamed disco diva vocalist.

Right So, i know where to set myself up with the sniper rifle
Most of his live show is pre-recorded with him pretending to fcuk about with a keyboard/synth but the whole remix thing could be fairly banging
