Following in the footsteps of Daft Punks “Electroma” comes the movie debut from Soulwax entitled “Part of the Weekend Never Dies”. The film will debut on the 24th of April at the Esther Festival at the Royal Festival Hall in London. Directed by Saam Farahmand, the movie follows the Belgium four piece on their recent international tour capturing all the chaos, music and madness that ensues. The whole tour was filmed on just one camera as the band took their live show through Europe, Japan, The US, Latin America and Australia. The recording resulted in 2 films, a live music film and documentary which includes 2manydj’s, James Murphy, Erol Alkan, Tiga, Justice, Busy P, Peaches, Klaxons and many more.
