Garnier Returns
Laurent Garnier is back this month with his first dance floor 12” release in 5 years. The “Back To My Roots” EP will be released on Dixons Innervisions label.
If it was not for Dixons enthusiasm for the track, the release may not have come about at all. Garnier played the demo mix of “Back To My Roots” at Berlins Panoramabar back in February and according to Garnier, “Dixon jumped on me to ask what it was, said he loved the sound and would love to release it on Innervisions”.
On Garniers return to Paris he created another track called Panoramix which will be on the flip side of “Back To My Roots”,
Dixon claims, “When Laurent played Back To My Roots at Panoramabar I immediately had the feeling I was listening to a classic- a 12 minute journey”.
Back To My Roots is out on Innervisions this month.
