MIA covers Tom Waits
Following in the steps of Scarlett Johansson, MIA is using Tom Waits for inspiration.
The song she's covered is Way Down in the Hole, a classic Tom Wait's song from his 1987 album Frank's Wild Years.
It's had a resurgence of late as The Wire chose to use different versions of it for the opening sequence of their show.
MIA recorded her track with Blaqstarr. The video below cost $9.95.
And this is Tom Wait's version, which cost a bit more.
