Essence Music Festival Holland
The very first Essence Music Festival begins on December 6 in Utrecht.
Not exactly a heavyweight festival as such, Essence lasts for one night only. The doors open at 22:00 in the evening and close again at 7:00 in the morning.
Etienne De Crecy plays live, Ben Sims, Armand Van Buuren and Dubfire too, ensuring it's a mixed bag for electronic music fans.
The Essence website is done in a clever/cheesy way where you pick which character represents you most and then find out the line up that way.
Utrecht is less than an hour from Amsterdam. A Sunday floating around the city could be the perfect way to round off a weekend.
