Grace Jones the movie
Director Sophie Fiennes has been following Grace Jones around for the past five years and is now set to release a documentary about her.
Grace Jones is without doubt the most famous Jamaican woman in the world. Born in Spanish Town sixty years ago she moved to New York to work as a model, then a muse for Andy Warhol and finally a disco diva.
Her most recent album Hurricane has got favourable reviews, but as has always been the case with Grace, she gets more publicity for her eccentric behaviour than her music (the last time she was interviewed for the guardian she tried to grab the interviewees tits and kiss her on the mouth).
For those of you who haven't seen Grace on the big screen since Conan the Barbarian, A View to a Kill or Boomerang, the mention of a new documentary must be amazing news.
There is no release date as of yet but we'll let you know as soon as we do. In the meantime check out Corporate Cannibal: "your meat is sweet to me" – indeed Grace, indeed.
