Three people stabbed at the London Urban Music Awards
The London Urban Music Awards held in the O2 Arena this weekend have been marred by violent outbursts that left three people stabbed.
Dizzee Rascal, Craig David, Sienna Miller and Amy Winehouse were all due to attend the event which is now in its sixth year but the show was cancelled before they even arrived. Police were forced to cordon off the building and keep 300 people inside the building until the early hours for questioning.
One eyewitness said, "I didn't see what happened but there were champagne bottles flying and I hid under the table."
One man has been left in a critical condition due to knife wounds.
Promoters of urban music nights in London will no doubt be waking up this morning finding their jobs have just got harder again.
