Placebo to play historic Cambodian concert

Placebo will play a concert at Angor Wat in Cambodia.

The concert at the temple is to raise awareness of human trafficking in the region and takes place on December 7.

South-East Asia is synonymous with human trafficking, which have given rise to gigantic sex resorts and an ever increasing slave network.

The temple was made famous by Angelina Jolie's action in Tomb Raider and is a UNESCO world heritage site.

Placebo will be joined by Duncan Sheik and Kate Miller-Heidke on the night.

The concert is part of MTV EXIT (End Exploitation and Trafficking), a project to raise awareness and increase prevention of human trafficking and exploitation.
