Brian Eno's iPhone
Brian Eno plays music on his iPhone
Not content with being the father of ambient music on standard musical instruments, Brian Eno has now developed his own iPhone application.
The application is called Bloom and with it you can either create your own music from scratch or play along with a recorded track. The entire screen is like a sound board.
On your way to work you could – or more likely Brian Eno could – compose, record and mail your latest track straight to your label.
The sounds appear as small dots on the screen, that look a lot like a 90s screensaver and gradually loop and evolve into your finished piece. And the beauty of the application is that if you don't like what you're doing, you just shake your iPhone and start all over again.
