Frankie Knuckles on one foot
Due to complications that started way back in July, Frankie Knuckles has had his foot amputated.
Frankie has apparently had a problem with his foot for the last ten years resulting from the time he broke it but didn't tell anyone about it. "I lived with that pain for almost 10 years and most of you never knew it. And you weren't supposed to," he said. Frankie Knuckles pretty much made house music back in the 70s when he combined disco and drum machines. We're just glad it was his foot and not one of his hands.
"I didn't have a problem losing my foot. After all, I still have another. I'm no longer living in pain," said Frankie with epic stoicism.
