Iceland Airwaves Festival
Iceland's best festival starts tonight and all concerns that their economy is following fast on the heels of Zimbabwe's go out the window.
This is the tenth year that the festival has taken place and the with Icelandic Krona taking a nose dive there has probably never been a better time to visit the land of the midnight sun, and up until recently, the €10 pint. The organisers have been at pains to point out that it's business as usual and that the country has not ground to a halt in spite of what your local media's been telling you.
The festival takes over the whole island for the few days and is pretty much the biggest party the Artic Circle ever sees. The line up is below. For more details click here
