Garnier's Kleptomaniac Tales

French star's new album is ready.

Laurent Garnier releases his new album, 'Tales Of A Kleptomaniac', on May 1. The set - his fifth studio effort - reflects his DJ sets of late, covering a multitude of styles, including Detroit-influenced techno, dubstep, drum and bass and house. The album features contributions from Philippe Naudaud and Benjamin Rippert, who also played on 2007's 'Public Outburst'. The album includes last year's 'Back To My Roots' and the Giles Peterson favourite, 'Gnanmankoudji', currently streaming on his myspace. Garnier has announced an extensive live/DJ tour in support of the new record, with F Communications label mate Scan X in support. The album is preceded by an EP in March.

He is doing live set from 10.30-12.30, then a dj set from 1-3 in tripod. Scan X must be on around 9pm so and filling in the 1/2 break.
