Devil's Work For Hell

Gigolo boss reveals album details.

DJ Hell releases his new album, 'Teufelswerk' - 'Devil's Work' - on April 25. The studio album divides the 16 tracks into 'Day' and 'Night's sections. 'Day' - produced with Peter Kruder, Christian Prommer and Roberto Di Gioia - concentrates on Hell's more experimental, psychedelic side - or "kosmische musik" as the well-turned out Gigolos boss would have it. Songs include 'The Angst & The Angst Pt. 2', 'Germania', 'Hell’s Kitchen', 'I Prefer Women to Men Anyway' and a "cosmic reading" of Hawkwind’s 'Silver Machine'.

Predictably, 'Night' is more dancefloor-focused, displaying his Chicago and Detroit influences. It also features guests: P Diddy on 'DJ', and - intriguingly - Bryan Ferry on 'U Can Dance'. The album, released on Gigolos, is preceded by a single, 'The Angst...' which comes with an extended Henrik Schwarz remix.

Not sure if I heard it yet. Got quite excited when Christian Prommer told me he was helping Hell produce his album, after his gig in the underground last year. They both come from very diffrent sides of the coin when it comes to there music, but both are brilliant.
