Apple Change iTunes Pricing
Apple announced yesterday that it would be altering its longstanding pricing system on iTunes.
Currently all tracks purchased on the site work out at 99 cents. However Apple have now stated that all back catalogue tracks will be dropped to 69 cents, all current songs will be 99 cents and all hit singles will be $1.29.
The company also stated that Sony BMG, Universal Music and Warner Music Group will allow their songs to be sold without the controversial digital rights management which limits users as to how many mp3 players they can play their purchased songs on.
The changes come into effect on April 1st.
