Octave One Return
Reinvigorated Detroit powerhouses ready new release
Detroit brothers-in-techno Octave One’s new album, ‘Summers On Jupiter’, will be on the shelves on January 29. The reinvigorated Burden brothers describe the record as a “rejuvenation” of their first musical love, the “pure Detroit sound”. Advance copies have been picking up plaudits from Jeff Mills, Carl Craig and Claude Young.
Already out in Japan on the P-Vine label, the rest of world release is on their equally rejuvenated 430 West label, on vinyl, CD and digital download. To mark their return, Lawrence and Lenny have decided to offer a selection of their label’s enviable back catalogue for digital download via Beatport for the first time. In addition, Octave One will be playing live around the world to mark the album’s release.
