Glade Finds A New Home

Dance festival announces (some) details of new location.

Glade festival organisers have secured a new site for their festival. Full details are yet to be revealed, but the site is located in Winchester, in leafy central south England. Key to deciding on the new site was the removal of sound restrictions, which some attendees complained had limited their enjoyment of the 2008 event on the old site. Glade director Nick Ladd said: ""We are really happy with our new home, it's really tailor-made for us - beautiful countryside, an event friendly council and no neighbours, so we can enjoy dance music as mother nature intended - outdoors and loud!'" The 2009 event takes place from Thursday 16 to Sunday 19 of July - the line-up has yet to be announced, but advance tickets are on sale now from here.

Bad venue for it last few years. Silly noise complaints. Seem to have it sorted with new out of the way venue this year. Beachdown festival near brighton looks good this year and green velvet is at wickerman festival on Isle of Man in July.
