Techno fans take note - Derrick May is taking over the 6Mix slot on BBC 6 Music this Saturday night. The Innovator will be speaking about, amongst other things, "the past, present and future of electronic music, the re-launch of his label Transmat". He'll also be playing a selection of records that have influenced him throughout his career. The show is broadcast from 9pm - 11pm, GMT. If you don't plan on being crowded 'round the wireless on a Saturday night, the show will be available on demand for one week here.
