Seinfeld fans take note - Squarepusher releases 'Solo Electric Bass' on Warp on August 17. Recorded at a show a Cité de la Musique, Paris in September 2007, it features Squarepusher, a bass guitar, an amp and nowt else, with no editing afterwards. One for the bass purists then - like Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers, who describes Tom Jenkinson thus: "He is the best electric bass player on the earth, he is pushing the instrument the farthest."
