Full Sonar Details Released
Line-up info and extra bits revealed.
Full details for this year's Sonar festival have been released. As previously revealed headliners include Grace Jones, Orbital, Fever Ray and Moderat. New additions include Crystal Castles and a Raster Noton showcase.
Filmmaker/actor/musician/model Vincent Gallo will present his RRIICCEE improv on the Sonar Hall stage, which will make a change from Jeff Mills improvising on the 909. Junior ravers will be catered for by SonarKids, "a new festival of music and creative experiences" for parents and children which takes place on the Sunday at CCCB. Probably best avoided if you've spent the previous night at Anti-Sonar.
Full info is available on the website - though no day by day breakdown is forthcoming yet. Expect a slew of Sonar-related parties for June 18/19/20 to be announced in the coming weeks.
