DJ Hell is re-releasing Psychonauts 2003 album 'Songs For Creatures' on his Gigolos. The 11-track album - the pair's debut (and only) LP, and their first post-Mo Wax release - featured guest vocals from Domino's James Yorkston, Siobhan Fahey and producer credits from Major Force man Kudo. Largely overlooked on its initial release - "Mo Wax fans were expecting a 'trip hop' album and disco was still a dirty word" say the pair today, it has been described by Hell and LCD's James Murphy as something of a lost gem, with Murphy citing it as a particular influence on the first Rapture LP. You can judge for yourself when the re-packaged, remastered album is issued in January.
