Favela on Blast Gets Release Date
July 20th
The Baile Funk documentary "Favela on Blast" directed by Mad Decent king pin Diplo, has been given a DVD release date of July 20th.
The film explores the roots of Baile Funk, the music itself and the subculture surrounding it.
If you can't wait for July 20th, Pitchfork TV will be playing the film for one week only from July 9th.
