Reports have surfaced on Twitter of foodie James Murphy ( who also used to be in a band called LCD Something Something) been seen entering a recording studio with The Klaxons in London yesterday.

Murphy has been quiet since LCD Soundsystem’s farewell show back on April 2nd. His recent DJ set at Sonar generated relatively little buzz considering the fact that it was his first post-LCD live appearance. Maybe it was because he's still playing shit disco we've all heard a million times before.

While reports of Murphy working with The Klaxons remain unconfirmed, if you see a James Murphy and Klaxons collaboration immerge over the next few months remember where you heard it first. Of course, he could just as easily have been preparing the tea & sambos...

Thought he was great fun at Sonar myself, especially in contrast to some of what I heard earlier in the evening, though he oddly changed into a fancy shirt at the end of his set
