Boom Festival - The love of Transformation
Portugal's Wonderland Returns For 8 Days Of Culture, Art, Environment, Music And Love.
Epitomising the phenomena of the global gathering, Portugal’s biennial Boom Festival kicks off once again for its ninth edition, taking place around the stunning shores of a lake Idanha-a-Nova from 28 July until 4 August.
The event invites some 30,000 people from across the globe for a truly epic, eight-day experience as it celebrates its fifteenth anniversary. Boom is absolutely unique, bringing together the very best in alternative culture, music and art alongside addressing environmental and human concern.
The heartbeat of Boom is its glorious dance temple, Covering all forms of dance floor focused psychedelic music. Highlights include: Japanese Taiko drummers, Gocoo, ethno-instrumental infusions from Hilight Tribe and pure music-magic vibrations of the Peaking Goddess Collective. Old school Goa trance mavericks, X-Dream and Manmademan kick-start the euphoria of those early days with that legendary Goa-licious synth sound of yore. Last but not least, expect the freshest sounds cross-spectrum from the likes of Tristan, Avalon, Liquid Ross, The First Stone, Zen Mechanics, Dick Trevor, Illegal Machines, Kindzadza and Ace Ventura.
