WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
The Bernard Shaw is Bodytonic’s first bar. In existence since 1895, Bodytonic started a new chapter in 2006 and have tried to expand on what it means to be an Irish bar in the building ever since.
Incorporating a Top 100 Italian cafe, a pizza kitchen on a double decker bus, a huge beer garden, an exhibition space aswell as the multitude of music and creative shows, this deceptively small venue from the outside packs alot in.
The venue is open from 8am Monday to Friday for breakfast and lunch with the bar open from 4pm for drinks and pizza. Music is their first love with the venue hostings weekly nights covering all stops between reggae, dub, jazz, disco, house and general electronic noodlings. Some of the guests that have played free shows in The BS include: Dam Funk, Dixon, DJ Yoda, Diplo, Theo Parrish, Optimo, DJ Spinna, James Pants, Taylor McFerrin, Motor City Drum Ensemble and lots more.
You can find out what's going on by clicking Whats On or if you're the gambling type, just turn up.
